Step 3: Design and Material Selection
This is where you choose finish, wood tone, upholstery (for sofas), hardware, and layout details (shelf configuration for an almirah, extension options for a dining table, etc.). Our team will talk through what's realistic given the wood and construction method.
Step 4: Quotation and Timeline
Once the design is finalised, you'll receive a clear quote and an estimated production timeline. Custom pieces naturally take longer than in-stock furniture since they're built to order rather than pulled from existing inventory.
Step 5: Crafting
Your piece is built by hand using genuine Nilambur teak wood, following the same joinery and finishing standards used across all Kallingal Furniture products - just sized and styled to your specifications.
Step 6: Quality Check and Delivery
Before delivery, every custom piece goes through a quality check to confirm dimensions, finish, and structural integrity match what was agreed. From there, it's delivered to your home - with pan-India delivery available if you're outside our showroom cities.
