1. About Us

Kallingal Furniture (“Kallingal”, “we”, “us”) manufactures and sells Nilambur teak wood furniture and better solid wooden items through showrooms in Peelamedu and Ramachettipalayam (Coimbatore), Chennai and Trichy, with delivery across India.

2. Use of the Website

• You must be at least 18 years old, or use the site under adult supervision.
• You agree to use the website lawfully and not to copy, scrape, disrupt or misuse it.
• Product photos, descriptions, videos, logos and text on this site belong to Kallingal Furniture and may not be reused without written permission (see Section 12).

3. Product Information and Natural Variation

We work hard to show our furniture accurately. However:

• Our Nilambur teak wood furniture and other solid wooden items are made from natural wood. Grain pattern, colour tone and knots naturally vary from piece to piece and will differ slightly from website images.
• Screen settings can change how colours appear.
• Dimensions, finishes and upholstery may vary slightly from displayed samples. Please confirm exact specifications with our showroom team before ordering.

4. Enquiries, Orders and Pricing

• This website is primarily a showcase. Enquiries and orders are confirmed through our showrooms, phone or WhatsApp.
• An order is confirmed only when we accept it and receive the agreed advance or payment. A quotation alone does not create a binding contract.
• Prices are in Indian Rupees and may change without notice, since wood prices fluctuate. The price on your confirmed order or invoice applies.
• Applicable taxes, including GST, are charged as per law. Delivery, transport and installation charges, if any, will be communicated in advance.
• Festival offers and discounts are valid for the stated period and while stocks last.

5. Custom and Made-to-Order Furniture

• Custom pieces are made to your dimensions and specifications, and the design, materials, finish and delivery timeline are confirmed in writing (including WhatsApp or email) before work begins.
• An advance payment of [__]% is required to start production.
• Once production has started, custom orders cannot be cancelled, and advances are non-refundable, as the piece is made specifically for you.
• Delivery timelines are estimates and may vary due to wood seasoning, festivals, weather or workload.

6. Retail and Wholesale Orders

We serve individual customers and trade buyers. Wholesale and bulk orders, including those for businesses, hotels and institutions, are subject to a separate quotation, minimum quantities and payment terms agreed in writing.

7. Payment

Payments are accepted at our showrooms and through methods communicated by our team at the time of order. We never ask for card PINs, OTPs or banking passwords over phone or WhatsApp. Please pay only against an official invoice or receipt, and contact us if you suspect any misuse of our name.

8. Delivery Across India

• We deliver across India through our own and partner transport services.
• Delivery dates are estimates, not guarantees. We are not liable for delays caused by events outside our control.
• Please inspect the furniture at the time of delivery. Report visible damage or shortage within 48 hours with photos and the invoice number so we can arrange a resolution.
• Ensure access (lift, staircase, doorway width) is suitable for delivery. Extra handling charges may apply for difficult access.
• Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

9. Returns, Exchanges and Cancellations

• Ready-made stock: Cancellation before dispatch may be accepted at our discretion. Return or exchange is accepted only for items delivered damaged or materially different from what you ordered, reported within the period in Section 8.
• Custom orders: Not returnable or cancellable after production begins (Section 5).
• Natural teak grain and tone variation, minor differences from website images, and damage caused by misuse are not grounds for return.
• Approved refunds are processed to the original mode of payment within [__] working days.

10. Warranty and Care

• Our Nilambur teak wood furniture and solid wooden items are built with care and carry a warranty of [__ years] against manufacturing defects, subject to the terms on your invoice or warranty card.
• The warranty does not cover normal wear, natural wood movement, termite or moisture damage from improper storage, fading from direct sunlight, physical damage, unauthorised repairs, or use beyond normal household purpose.
• Basic care: keep furniture away from prolonged moisture and direct sun, wipe with a soft dry cloth, and use polish recommended by our team.

11. Customer Content and Reviews

If you submit reviews, photos or testimonials, you grant Kallingal Furniture a non-exclusive right to display them on our website and social media. Content must be truthful and lawful. We may remove content that is offensive or misleading.

12. Intellectual Property

All content on this website, including the Kallingal name and logo, designs, photographs, videos and text, is owned by or licensed to Kallingal Furniture. You may not copy, reproduce or use it commercially without our written consent. Our custom furniture designs remain our intellectual property unless agreed otherwise in writing.

13. Third-Party Links

Our website links to third-party platforms such as YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp and Google Maps. We do not control these sites and are not responsible for their content or policies.

14. Limitation of Liability

To the extent permitted by law, Kallingal Furniture is not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from use of the website or products. Our total liability for any claim will not exceed the amount you paid for the product concerned. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 or other laws that cannot be excluded.

16. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
